It's hard to believe that we have been here six days. It feels like longer. And the experience of travel with a large, tech savvy group is proving interesting and exciting. The major difference between now and when Diane and hit the road internationally ten years ago, is the difference between life 15 years ago and today: the omnipresence of the internet, and the rapidly evolving, helpful content that it can provide.

But I think that it is creating a little bit of anxiety too, for many in the group. The week has been very busy with networking meetings, information sessions etc., all geared around dialogue on using all of the tools at our disposal to try and travel more intelligently, and pool our resources toward that aim. It's a lot to deal with I imagine for people who in the meantime are just stressing about keeping up with their jobs remotely. FOMO ("fear of missing out") is keeping many of us out late every night.
