An Argentinian Rollercoaster


When you start Remote Year they tell you that you will experience your highest highs and your lowest lows, that your “concentrated dose of life” will send you on a rollercoaster of emotions, sometimes lurching from joy to despair and back in the space of a day.

No other month illustrated this better than May.

Starting the Dream Job

The first week of this month was actually spent in Los Angeles as I spent my first week on site with That Game Company to kick off my new contracting gig. The imposter syndrome hung over me like a cloud for the first few days, that gnawing feeling that at any moment these people could discover that you don’t actually belong here, that you’ve somehow tricked them into giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a product being crafted by some of the best in their field.
